The 7th Expo of Several Generations of Iranian Contemporary Artists is to kick off at a venue in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
Dozens of Iranian artists, including photographers and painters whose works implement the contemporary art format, will be featured during the Tehran exhibition, which opened at Laleh Art Gallery on Friday.
The 7th edition of the expo will feature some 200 visual arts by 76 artists whose artworks are created with a modern approach.
Earlier editions of the exhibit have been hosted at the Laleh gallery over the years, with an emphasis to improve both quality and quantity of the event as a particular focus of the organizers.
Young as well as veteran artists to be featured during the expo include Reza Bangiz, Kambiz Derambakhsh, Behzad Shishegaran, Behnam Kamrani, Maneli Manouchehri, Mehrdad Khataei and Maryam Tabatabaei, among others.
Patrons may purchase the artists’ works at affordable prices and, thereby, support the growing contemporary art movement in Iran.
The 7th Expo of Several Generations of Iranian Contemporary Artists will run in prelude to the start of the Iranian New Year, through March 16.
